Rim #1

Rim #2,

This is a pair of very rare wheels. The rear wheels have F & H casting # HC419C in the hubs. These are similar to F & H HC419A hubs used on the 40 inch round spoked wheels for BWH and BNH tractors and also the 36" round spoke wheels used on a few BN's. However, these wheels have flat spokes (not round spokes) riveted into the hubs. The flat spokes are welded to the 38" rims. I believe they are cut downs from steel wheels, since they would have been riveted to the rim if they were factory wheels for rubber tires. The tractor that these wheels came from is a wartime styled B with a tricycle front end. Thes erial tag was missing, but the B2013R cast iron frame indicates a 1943 or 1944 wartime tractor, serial #136662-166999. This is confirmed by the cut down fronts with the wartime hubs also on the tractor. I have never seen or heard of a set of these hubs with flat spokes, but the fact that the serial tag was missing makes it difficult to do further research on them. They would look great on a tractor with steel rims put back on them. Unfortunately, as is more often than the case than not with these B hubs, the ears have broken off over the years. They are all there and fit the hubs and would work fine for a show tractor. The rims weigh 200 pounds each and can ship truck freight. I have more photos when they were on the tractor if you would like to see them. They are priced at $2000 for the pair due to their rarity.
