1940 Model Year
Only 80 AW's were made in 1940. The wide front end
on this tractor is in very good condition. The engine is not stuck
and turns freely and there is good impulse at the magneto. No
visible cracks were noted at the head or block, but there is a
crack in the flywheel. The brakes, front medallion, starter, and
valve cover are currently off the tractor, but are included. The
front grilles are in fairly good condition, with the hood in poor
condition and the battery covers missing. One front wheel has
some rust through, otherwise the wheels look to be in good condition.
One rear rim is a 38 inch, the other a 36 inch, but I have an
extra and matching 38 inch rim that I will include. No rear tires
and the front tires are marginal. The drawbar support is correct,
but the drawbar itself is incorrect. The air stack is cut short
and the seat is rusted through.
